BRADING Town produced a stunning home performance at the Peter Henry Ground on Saturday, destroying Alton Town 5-1 in the Premier Division of the Sydenhams Wessex League.
The side went into the second half 2-1 up, thanks to goals from Ollie Buckett and Scott Jones but strikes from GC Giancovich, two, and Jason Ince, put the icing on the cake.
Meanwhile, Newport enjoyed a good away win at New Milton Town, an Iain Seabrook free kick just ten minutes into the match proving to be the difference as the Port held on for a 1-0 victory.
In Division 1, there were 1-1 draws for both Cowes Sports and East Cowes Vics.
At Westwood Park, after a short delay in kick-off, the Yachtsmen went into the second half 0-0 against AFC Portchester. They gained a point thanks to a Mikey Jones goal.
At Beatrice Avenue, Vics played a better game than Warminster Town but could not make it count. They took the lead through a Casey Tyrell penalty, after John McKie was brought down.
However, poor defending in the second half gifted Warminster an equaliser.
