A PENALTY shoot-out decided the fourth annual Peter Henry Memorial Day competition on Sunday.
East Cowes Vics beat Cowes Sports 4-3 on penalties after the teams drew 0-0 in the final at Brading Town’s Peter Henry Ground.
The sides topped the two groups, also involving teams from Newport, Brading Town and West Wight, who all fielded players aged over 35.
The event started in 2009 following the death of Peter Henry, who served the club for more than 60 years, as a player, committee member and groundsman.
Organiser, Steve Lawton, said "Pete was a lovely man who was highly regarded by lots of people.
"It was a good day and everyone I spoke to said they enjoyed it."
