More than 80 residents in the borough braved the cold weather for a sleep-out in aid of homelss people outside East Barnet's St Mary the Virgin Church on Friday. It is hoped that the sleep-over, which included people from clubs, societies and the church congregation, would raise more than £6,000 towards the North Finchley charity, Homeless Action in Barnet.
