EAST Cowes Vics exited the Sydenhams Wessex League Cup at the semi-final stage tonight (Tuesday), losing on neutral ground to Premier Division Alresford Town.
The Division 1 side were overwhelmed in the first half, conceding twice at Fareham Town's ground. But they dominated the second half and were rewarded in the 88th minute with a goal from Josh Appell.
Sadly the goal came too late for Vics, and they must now refocus on their Wessex League campaign.
