THE victories keep coming for Newport and Cowes Sports in the Sydenhams Wessex League - while East Cowes Vics are still searching for a win.

In today's (Saturday) action, Newport travelled to Andover Town in the Premier Division and came away with all three points after winning 1-0, Scott Jones's 59th minute header sealing the win.
And in Division 1, Cowes defeated Pewsey Vale 2-0, courtesy of an own goal and a goal for Keelan Sainsbury.
There were no celebrations for Vics, however, as despite their good defending, lost 1-0 at Fleet Spurs, the winner coming from Lloyd Jones in the 75th minute.
