Harrow's police chief has welcomed the Metropolitan force's new list of priorities for policing the capital.
The plan, published last week, lists the key objectives and priorities on which police will focus their activity in the year ahead.
"My primary aim is to make Harrow a safer place to live and work," said Superintendent Bob Aitchison. "These objectives will focus on combating terrorist crime, burglary, street robbery and the supply of illegal drugs.
"We will also respond to the public's desire for effective and visible patrol, continuing to provide the best emergency response service of any major town."
