Blooming long-lived, Richard’s conservatory orchid.
GARDENINGORCHIDS have a very bad reputation as difficult to keep alive.
Not so, they really only require the minimum attention to thrive because they demand so little and give so much.
Keep warm, light, use rainwater and give a daily misting and orchids will repay the minimum of effort, in spades
Give mum the delicately scented pink dendrobium orchid that will display blooms for as long as 15 weeks, year on year.
For really high-impact glamour, go for cymbidium, whose fragranced, opulent pink flowers will bloom for nearly as long.
