Charity stalls graced the green bursting with wares for the keen eyed bargain hunters. If that was not your scene then there was plenty of entertainment.

The fair also had a special star - the clockwork radio made famous by inventor Trevor Baylis.

The radio was being raffled to raise funds for Eleanor Grigas, of Twickenham, who will be joining Mr Baylis on an intrepid trek through the Namib desert in Africa later this month in aid of the Mines Advisory Group.
