Greenacres 6
Borehamwood Youth 3
League Cup 2nd Round
On an awful pitch Youth continued to give away sloppy goals despite attacking for most of the match.
Youth manager Dean Cole said: "The 6-3 score did not give a true account of the game."
After being 3-1 down at the break Wood contiuned to press forward and should have had a penalty inside five minutes of the second half.
It was not given and, unfortunately, Greenacres scored three quick goals making the score now read 6-1.
Yet Wood did not back down and made a couple of well deserved late efforts.
Man of the match was Joe Reynolds and notable performances came from Sam Hyslop and Anthony Parker.
Wood now has two managers, Dean Cole is joined by Pat Mullins.
