A NEW campaign sponsored by the New Millennium Experience Company is asking commuters across Britain to promise their final hour's wages of 1999 to help children of the next millennium.
The initiative, called Children's Promise, may be one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. It is part of the NMEC's national programme of public activities to mark the millennium. Former Blockbusters and Blue Peter presenters Bob Holness and Diane-Louise Jordan are pictured at the launch with nine-year-old Leanne Bushell.
