Putting prowess earns Matt title

MATT Williams won Osborne Golf Club’s President’s Putter competition, which was held in conjunction with the June Monthly Medal last weekend.

The putter is awarded to the player who plays the least number of putts during the medal contest, and Matt achieved this with just 26 putts.

The competition was won by Dave Young with a nett 68 in division 1, with Sid Owen winning division 1 and Arthur Harris winning division 3.
