Herons 1 Suffolk Youth 2
Bushey Friendly League U12s
Ryan Goodman bagged his ninth goal in four games as Suffolk Youth claimed their third win in the Green Division Play-Offs with a 2-1 success at Herons. Despite two recent wins, Suffolk looked rather ring rusty and found it hard to find any pattern to their play.
Suffolk started slowly and were lucky not to go behind as the opposition squandered several opportunities to score.
Early deadlock was broken when Stephen Mayers headed home a corner from man-of-the-match, Matthew Irvine.
Herons levelled later on in the game but Suffolk bounced back. Goodman ran on to a Jack Regan pass to slot in the winning goal.
SUFFOLK: Wells, Cook, Nassau, Goward, Regan, Driver, Sapsford, Bishop, O'Conner, Eddon, Ballard, Rowland, Makowski, Irvine.
