HOCKEYIW II are preparing to take on Swanage and Wareham on Bank Holiday Monday in the Hampshire Open Trophy Final in Haslemere.
The two sides have never face each other before but Swanage already look to be tough opposition, as they have only lost one match in the division below IW II.
Captain Richard Reynolds said: "It is going to be a very tough match because Swanage won 19 of their 20 league matches in the division below us, so there is no doubt they’ll be the big favourites.
"We’ve done some scouting and have found out some useful information about their key players so we’ll have to use that knowledge to our advantage because hopefully they won’t know too much about us either.
"Win or lose though, we will have a great day out, give it our best shot on the day and do our very best to try and bring some silverware back to the Island."
The match gets under way at 3.45pm.
