LOVE is in the air as Valentine's Day looms.
Brent Lodge Park Animal Centre in Brent Lodge Park, Church Road, Hanwell is now home to eight beautiful, rare breed lovebirds.
The black-cheeked birds, donated by London Zoo, are now at the centre, as part of a managed breeding programme for this species.
The lovebirds hail from a very restricted natural habitat in southern Zambia and the Victoria Falls region in Zimbabwe, and are the most threatened species of lovebird in the world.
The centre is open between 10.30am and 4pm during the winter. Admission is 50p for adults and 25p for children aged from three to 16 years and OAPs. Children under three visit for free.
