Hertfordshire County Council's drive towards higher standards in reading among children went on-line last week. Best-selling author Ken Follett -- who is a member of the Government's Literacy Task Force -- clicked open the council's new website which will provide up-to-the-minute news, information and advice about the National Year of Reading. It will give visitors an insight into its literacy strategy.
The website can be found at www.hertfordshire.co.uk/reading.
