GREAT entertainment was provided at last Friday's On Target Quiz with both audience and teams finding lots of laughs as they battled through the rounds. Initially the Wooburn Festival team beat Bourne End Residents Association. Then a youthful group from the Bucks Free Press explained that "they knew how to ask the questions but never knew the answers". In fact they were beaten by Forum Players but achieved a presentable score and were delighted when most of the audience, by a show of hands, said that they were readers of the local paper.

The decider was a slightly more serious contest with Forum Players beating Wooburn Festival. Forum's team achieved two bull's eyes and a final score of 240 which was truly outstanding.

ART exhibition by Cookham Arts Club at Bourne End Garden Centre every day from 8.30am to 6pm (4pm on Sunday) until Sunday, March 17. Lots of pictures by local artists which can be bought and taken away.
