ISLANDERS REUNITED From Barbara Avery, New Zealand,e-mail barbwynnatlarge@hotmail.com:

I AM struggling to find a family who lived on the IW in the late 1800s by the name of George and Charlotte White (nee Avery), who were married in 1872 at St Michael’s Church in Ryde.

George may have been a bricklayer and at one stage the couple lived at 29 Somerset Road, High Park, St Helens.

They had a daughter, Annie "Florence" White, who may have married either a Frank W. Cook or a John H. Owens in 1895.

If anyone knows what happened to this family, could they e-mail me with information or refer me to someone who may be able to help me with my search?

Thank you.
