All join in with anthem to bins

LETTERS From Gerry Davies, Niton:

IT IS surely not too early to begin planning the celebrations for the first anniversary of the hugely welcome introduction of the wheely bins.

I have a vision of the massed choirs of the Island, all in eco-green, assembled at the tip, sorry, public amenity site, or something like that, singing applauditory anthems such as the age-old round:

"Wheel, wheel, wheel your bin, gently to the street

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, isn’t it nice and neat."

This, of course, is just an embryonic proposal. I look forward intensely to seeing others more creative than myself build upon it.
