THE IW Council’s budget decision to scrap the existing IW resident’s parking permit and increase the price of the new permit to £500 made me wonder.
How does this fit with an article published by the BBC about parking charges being raised to revenue generate and the fact that doing so on the grounds of revenue generating is, in fact, illegal.
