Charity knitters need wool

LETTERS From Mrs Ann Brading, secretary, Romania Education Vision Action, Ryde:

MAY I, through your columns make another appeal for knitting wool for our charity, Romania Education Vision Action (REVA).

We are a small Island-based registered charity, who have been supporting disadvantaged children in the Transylvania region of Romania since 1997.

The CP has kindly printed appeals for us in the past and the response has been absolutely fantastic.

Our knitters are now once again coming to the end of the supply and we would be very grateful to received any donations of unwanted double knitting wool to be knitted up into hats, gloves, scarves, jumpers etc., which we will then send to Romania.

Anyone wishing to donate wool, can contact either 01983 615597 or 01983 721009 and arrangements can be made for collection.
