A charity evening of authentic Sixties rock 'n' roll music is being held by the outgoing Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Jack Cohen on May 20.
Music will be provided by The Bruvvers, a group who had a number one single in 1962 with Joe Brown called Picture of You. They also recently performed at a party for Sir Paul McCartney.
All proceeds go to the Mayor of Barnet's Appeal which has so far raised closed to £50,000 for Barnet Cancer Care Young Families Appeal, the cancer information and support centre at Cherry Lodge, Wood Street, Barnet.
The evening takes place at the Garth Hotel, Hendon Way, Childs Hill, at 8pm.
Tickets cost £10 each and are available by calling 020 8445 3981 or 020 8446 7940.
