BEACONSFIELD Wine Guild, which meets at St Thomas Hall on the first Friday of each month, will hold its AGM on Friday night at 8pm. Members had the agenda, minutes and various reports in advance, as well as a nomination form which has hopefully been used as another committee member is needed. Refreshments will be available and there will be a social evening after the meeting.

AS you probably know, the appointed new Youth Worker for the team changed his mind, and any adult volunteers would be very welcome to help with youth activities working alongside experienced volunteers, so no special skills are needed just the ability to get along with others.

If you would like to learn more about what is involved in this type of work, please phone Jan Brookshaw on 01494 674506.

SCOTTISH dancing is held every Monday evening at St Michaels Church Hall, in Grenfell Road, from 8pm till 10pm, and anyone is welcome. Proceeds go to a Third World charity. If you have any questions please phone 01494 672476 or 522475.

SOUTH Bucks Volunteer Bureau is now part of a new organisation Chiltern and South Bucks Council for Voluntary Service but still doing the same work, and from the same place, so if you can help with any of the following you may already have the phone number, 01753 893793. Sheila Kay will be very pleased to hear from you especially if you can help with driving (many areas), not just the elderly, but also children or the disabled; or if you would like to become a prison visitor. A voluntary organisation helping Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen also requires people who can spare time to help others with their problems.
