April 12, 2001 17:24: Award-winning musicians Isabella Crook and Christopher Glynn open Ripley Recitals' summer series of concerts with an evening of oboe, cor anglais and piano.
The talented pair will perform a varied programme, which includes music from Telemann, Barat, Proulenc, Bozza, Elgar, Rubbra and Britten.
Crook graduated from the Royal Academy of Music last June where she won the RAM Club Prize and the Vivian Langrish Recital Award.
Before joining the RAM she reached the semi-finals of the Young Musician Of The Year competition.
Glynn has played round London and has been involved in BBC broadcasts. He has also played accompaniment on several CD recordings.
Hear them play at Ripley Arts Centre, Sundridge Avenue, Bromley, on Saturday, April 21, from 8pm.
