LETTERS From P. Moss, Ryde:
THE carnival season is nearly over for another year, and again it was very successful in the many towns taking part across the Island.
How the procession changed with the passing of years.
At one time the holiday camps would put floats in, besides many other companies involved in the events.
These days, there are not so many floats but more dancers.
But they all do a very good job, particularly the costumes that are made.
So let’s roll on to next year and just hope that it is as successful, after all the hard work that goes into it.
