A BROMLEY songstress is encouraging wannabe entertainers to give their services for a cancer hospital's golden jubilee celebration.
Bec Weller, 17, of Southborough Lane, wants singers, dancers and street entertainers to get in touch.
She will be performing at the Royal Marsden Hospital's golden jubilee street parties on June 3.
Bec, who attends Brits Performance Arts and Technology College, in Croydon, came up with the idea of the jubilee performance after starring in a variety concert at the hospital.
With TV stars Peter Bowles, and Jemma Redgrave, she wowed patients with her version of Cyndi Lauper's Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun.
She said: "I'd watched Jemma Redgrave on TV the night before. I felt quite frightened after as I thought I have got a lot to live up to.
"Performing was scary but quite enjoyable."
Following the show's success, she has been asked to take part in a jubilee concert for the hospital.
She said: "We are looking for people who can provide entertainment suitable for a street party."
She added: "Most people know of somebody who has been affected by cancer but sometimes don't know what to do to help."
