From Wendy Young, Northwood:

WE are constantly aware of the serious financial state the National Health Service is in.

It must be a nightmare for those who have to try to balance budgets while providing the highest possible standard of care for patients.

Why then, is it deemed necessary for 77 Care Quality Commission inspectors to visit the IW? (CP, 13-06-14).

Their expenses alone would be very significant.

I am aware it comes from a different budget but is it not time some very serious thinking takes place with regard to such national issues?
