AN AVENUE of trees will be planted to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee and residents can get involved.
Fifty spring-flowering ornamental cherry trees will be planted in Swanley Park in October. Locals can buy one of the trees to commemorate a special event or person in their lives.
The trees are available for £50 and will grow to about four metres under the supervision of park staff.
Swanley town councillor Robert Woodbridge said: "What better way to remember someone or celebrate a family event."
