Pupils from Regina Coeli primary school have raised £170 for Blue Peter's Wheel Help appeal due to the success of their Bring and Buy sale on January 18.
The Wheel Help Appeal aims to raise £500,000 for the elderly who cannot get out and about so easily.
The pupils' money will help pay for specially converted mini-buses, electric scooters, gardeners and places in Tai Chi clubs.
All were invited to the Pampisford Road-based school to bring and buy videos, music, toys and games.
School spokesman Beverly-Ann Charman-Gay said: "The children raised £170, which is not bad considering that most things were not priced much more than £1."
