A BUSHEY entrepreneur has reached the finals of the Young Enterpriser of the Year competition.
Miss Annmarie O'Carroll, 22, who owns the Beauty Studio in High Street, came runner-up in the south east regional finals, which took place in Luton in the first week of March. Miss O'Carroll was awarded £200. She will now go through to the national finals, held in May.
She completed a three-year NVQ in hairdressing and beauty at West Herts College before setting up the salon using a £1,000 interest free loan from The Prince's Trust.
The one-year-old business employs two staff.
