CHILDREN at a Bickley school have delighted grown-ups with their creative flare after turning shoe boxes into works of art.
The youngsters, aged between five and seven years old, at St George's Primary School in Tylney Road, brought in shoe boxes and transformed them into mini-theatres.
Basing their stages on their favourite books, they created scenes with Humpty Dumpty and other characters from nursery rhymes and Disney.
Teacher Elizabeth Carlton was impressed with the youngsters' creations. “The shoe box theatres are superb,” she said.
