Not enough doctors for more homes

From Susan Goodman, Cowes:

I was disturbed to find out that there is a planning application for house building on the field between Wyatts Lane and Pallance Road, Northwood.

I use this field regularly to walk my dog, so I was surprised when someone told me about this proposed building. There are no signs displayed at the entrance to the field, so is this being kept secret?

I have always thought this would happen at some time but surely not when we only have two doctors at the medical centre and it takes a month to see your GP.

The infrastructure is just not able to cope with an influx of more families using hospitals, schools, roads etc.

I really hope the council takes the same view.
