LETTERS From David Atkin, East Cowes:
REGARDING the article on the £40,000 revamp for the paddling pool on East Cowes seafront (CP, 22-02-13).
It is stated some of the money will be used to "make it shallower".
Maybe I am a bit thick, but why not just put less water in it? That would 'make it shallower’ and it certainly wouldn’t need £40,000 of taxpayers’ cash to do it.
No wonder we have no money left in the kitty for libraries etc.
