NUMBER crunchers at Jerounds Junior School have plunged themselves into Maths Year 2000 by recently holding a Maths Activity Week.
Children from all year groups and teachers at the Pyenest Road school joined forces to investigate a variety ot tasks including shape building, number games and calculator problems. Parents were also invited to join in the fun.
The school said both staff and pupils found the week very stimulating and has arranged a hands-on Maths evening in June which gives parents and children the chance to get to grips with more Maths fun.
