I BELIEVE the main topic of conversation in the UK is supposed to be the weather.
Our council has achieved something unusual as the main topic of conversation is now the refuse service, notably what or what not to put in our wheelie bins. Judging by the level of confusion on the subject the next few months are likely to be rather trying.
