A SCHOOL for young adults with learning disabilities has found a new home just one month before it is thrown out of its present site.
The INTERACT Centre, for students aged 16 and above who suffer from Asperger Syndrome, has been based at the Hanwell Community Centre in Westcott Crescent, Hanwell, since 1994.
Two years ago, the school, described by the Further Education Funding Council as a Grade 1 provider of specialist education, was told it would have to leave.
With time running out, principal James Graham struck a deal with Ealing Tertiary College for some space on its Acton site in Mill Hill Road.
Mr Graham said: "If we had closed it would not just have been our students that lost out but thousands as our curriculum is being advised as good practice for others to follow."
