The Heights of a real let down

LETTERS From Mrs Barbara Debenham, St Helens:

WE all thought that when The Heights swimming pool reopened after being closed for 11 months it was going to be the best place to go.

But, no, the car park is a mess and the contractors have far too many parking spaces.

The pool has too much shallow end, making it very hard to swim in, then there are the changing rooms and showers.

There are only four showers and they have doors on, so you have to wait a long time to get in (did a man organise this?).

There are 100 lockers and if there were 100 people in there, it would be impossible to move.

Ladies who have children in the mother and baby group do not have benches to put baby on if the other ones are being used, most dress baby on the floor and that is not a good thing.

Older ladies want somewhere to sit to dress themselves. The mother and baby groups would be better if they were later in the day so all could be accommodated.

I have Jenny Ball to teach me as quite a lot of older ladies do and she is an excellent teacher. If we do not treat this lady better then we will lose her and that means quite a lot of revenue going to waste.
