THE next couple of weeks will be very important for Harlow with some very big games coming up.

On Monday we play Bishop's Stortford, a match I'm particularly looking forward to as, if selected, it will be my first derby.

I was injured for the game at the Sportcentre at Christmas time, which we should have won but they scored in the last minute.

It looks like Stortford have got out of the relegation scrap but we are still battling and it will be a hard fought game with plenty of commitment from both sets of players.

Obviously the fans feel the rivalry between the two clubs and the players feel it as well. A lot of the players know each other and some have played for the other club but we will all be determined to finish on the winning side.

The fact that Stortford are at home could work to our advantage as both teams have shown better form away from home over the last few weeks.

It's something we have to look at as our home form hasn't been good enough. The way we play away seems to suit us better.

I've never played at Woodside Park but I've heard it's a good stadium. We always take a big, noisy crowd with us on our travels and I'm sure there will be a great atmosphere on Monday.

The other game we are looking forward to is the East Anglian Cup semi-final against Great Wakering Rovers.

We played them last season in the FA Vase when they were in the Schweppes Essex Senior League and we thought we would have an easy game.

But they were no pushovers and we had a cracking 4-3 game ? I scored the winner in the last minute. They were promoted last season into the Ryman League division three and it looks like they are going straight up again.

It would be great to get to the final or even win the cup. We have had a tough season with a change of managers and poor league form until the last couple of months.

But if we could end up staying up and picking up some silverware, that would be a very productive season.
