POLICE are hunting burglars they believe were responsible for three separate incidents in Aldenham.
Offenders gained entry to a house in Grove Place, Aldenham, between 8.45am and 1pm on Monday, January 28.
They got in through a side door and searched all the rooms, smashing a computer screen in the process. They took a portable television and video unit and a set of pens and pencils. They damaged a side door, which will cost about £700 to fix.
Another property in the road was broken into between 8.10am and 4.40pm on the same day. This time, the intruders went in through the garage and got into the house by smashing a double glazed window. They searched all the rooms and made off with a cheque book.
The third burglary happened sometime between 9.15am and 3.15pm on the same day in Hilfield Lane, Aldenham.
The offenders got in through a garage door and then threw a rock through a window.
