LETTERS
From Allan Blackburn, Cowes:
I may not be that good at understanding how high finance works, but I read with amazement a report (CP, 23-12-16) on the proposal the council wants to buy land in East Cowes from the Home and Communities Agency, ex SEEDA (a government quango).
Surely that land was bought with taxpayers’ money and now the money the council will use local taxpayers’ money.
It seems us taxpayers are paying twice for this land, or am I missing something.
