DARTFORDIANS lost to local rivals Charlton Park 32-14 in extremely windy conditions.
The eagerness of the Charlton forwards proved the decisive factor, when having turned round just a few points down against a gale-force wind, Darts attempted to use the elements to their advantage, but were thwarted by some fine defensive play by the home pack.
Darts' tries were scored by Matt Smith and Paul Gills with Bradley Jones converting.
This Saturday, Darts host Tonbridge Juddians in the league at Bourne Road, Bexley, at 3pm.
