NORTHWOOD Honda is holding some special celebratory events to mark the official opening of its new showroom.
The Honda dealership moved from Northwood Garage to its new premises opposite BAe Systems in Cowes recently.
On Thursday, there will be an open afternoon at the showroom starting at noon — view the new facilities, look at all the latest Honda cars and have a go on the Honda S2000 sports car simulator.
Everyone is welcome and there will be a trained Honda representative manning the simulator, who will be able to tell visitors more about what it is like to drive Honda’s sporty S2000 in the flesh.
There is an invitation-only launch party in the evening, which is expected to be attended by several top figures from Honda UK, including the managing director.
For those who cannot make it to the new showroom on Thursday, Northwood Honda will also be holding an open weekend next weekend.
l Northwood Honda is part of the Island-based Leslie’s Group, which also includes Northwood Mazda, Hale Common Suzuki and Somerton Kia.
Some of its other garages have special events coming up in the next few weeks.
The Leslie’s Group will be celebrating 21 years of Mazda at Northwood at the end of this month and the launch of the new Suzuki Swift is planned in early September.
