London Knights drew for the sixth successive time at home in their Sekonda Superleague match on Sunday against fellow strugglers Manchester Storm.

It was also Knights' seventh draw in 10 games, but having lost the other three they have won just once in 17 games but remain two points above the Storm at the foot of the table.

Kights dominated a fast-paced game but were frustrated by Storm netminder Mike Torchia who saved 46 of the 48 shots he faced.

Ian McIntyre finally succeeded in beating Torchia on 9:13 and, after a scoreless second period, Storm levelled early in the third through Ross Romaniuk's goal while Knights' Gerad Adams was in the sin-bin.

But Adams soon atoned when he restored the Knights lead less than a minute after returning to the ice. However, the joy was shortlived as Trevor Gallant quickly equalised.

On Saturday, the Knights came off second best by the odd goal in a seven at Sheffield Steelers, but two days earlier had played out their third 2-2 home draw on the trot.

Knights fielded Dominic Amodeo and Greg Burke, who along with Scott Bailey were signed just before last Thursday's transfer deadline.

But Nate Leslie was the hero, netting the equaliser when he reacted quickest to Mark Kolesar's rebounded shot with barely two minutes remaining.

Earlier, Maurizio Mansi had given the Knights the lead on 18:26, but Sheffield levelled seven minutes into the second through Paul Kruse and they then took the lead less than a minute into the third period, when Scott Allison scored an individual short-handed goal.
