Choir plan wide range of songs in aid of hospice

The Phoenix Choir, who will be performing at St Saviour’s Church, Shanklin.

MUSICTHE Phoenix Choir will be performing in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, at St Saviour’s Church, Shanklin, next week.

There is no entry fee to the concert on Thursday, at 7.45pm, but there will be a retiring collection and a raffle.

The choir will be singing a wide range of popular songs, from Pavarotti to Presley, including sections from Les Miserables and Paint Your Wagon.

Teas and coffee will be available.

Musical director Robin Burnett said: "We hope the concert will be well supported to assist this truly worthy cause."
