EnglanE’s debut EP

EnglanE — new EP.

MUSICSINGER and songwriter EnglanE has released her debut EP.

The three-track release, which is available to download from iTunes, was recorded at Newport’s Skinny Mammoth studios, produced by Dave Waight and Stuart Fisher, Island musicians from the band Hole.

"I have fronted lots of band throughout the years but am solo now and loving it," said Cowes-based EnglanE, who has been compared to artists including P. J. Harvey and Courtney Love.

Her style, which she describes as alternative acoustic pop/rock, has earned her attention from the BBC, which featured her in BBC Introducing.

The EP features the tracks Can I Help You?, Kill Her and Comfort Wounds.

She has also just been invited to play at this year’s IW Festival.
