Festival hero has Quay date

A SINGER songwriter compared to Nick Drake and Bob Dylan is set to perform at Quay Arts, Newport, next Friday, November 20.

Alex Roberts played a masterful performance at the IW Festival in 2008 and is renowned for his outstanding musicianship, driven by his love of song.

His voice is gentle, with a sexy timbre which combines with unique guitar playing to seamlessly traverse genres from baroque to blues.

If you are inspired by contemporary mellow folk music, singer songwriter or if you play guitar yourself, Alex’s performance is for you.

Alex will be appearing on at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm.
