MUSIC MUSIC producer and DJ Damian Walshe has released his latest EP on the Candy Bass label.

Crystalline is the newest release by Island-based Damian, who is already preparing to release another EP shortly as part of his deal with the London dance music label.

Fomer Headfunk member, Damian went solo about a year ago and signed a deal to release three EPs, three singles and an album.

He has already worked with Island musicians, including singer Jess Toyne, and he hopes to work with more in the future — including Oly Rivers, of Ohmz.

His love of music started at a young age, fronting a rock band at 16 and learning to DJ at 15.

He said: "I guess it all started from the age of four, with my dad teaching me how to play nearly every different brass instrument you can think of."

In the last three years, he has played alongside the likes of DJ Format, The Freestylers and A-Skillz, and at events including the IW Festival and Bestival.
