MUSICTHE Deben High School Jazz and String Ensembles will be performing in Ryde and Ventnor next week.
They promise to be lively concerts with jazz and pop numbers including Thriller, Play That Funky Music and songs from Mamma Mia!
Deben High School is a specialist college, based in Felixstowe, for performing arts and both the jazz band and string ensemble were formed more than ten years ago.
Aged between 11 and 18 years old, the musicians perform regularly at community and charity events and have toured in Germany, Holland and France.
See them on Tuesday at the Ventnor Park bandstand, at 2.30pm, and on Wednesday at All Saints’ Church, Queen’s Road, Ryde, at 8pm.
Entry is free of charge.
