DJ Harvey will be performing at Metro Nights.
MUSIC A NEW club night is coming to the Island, thanks to a young promoter.
While studying in London, Islander Josh Goddard said he missed the IW so much he wanted to bring a little of it to the capital but when he was back on the Island, he missed the London scene.
It inspired him to devise Metro Nights, a unique project to showcase Island talent in London and bring London acts here.
During December he organised a gig featuring Islanders Extreme Vertigo and in March he will hold the first IW Metro Night at The Loft, Newport.
The gig, on March 9, will feature DJs Merci, Two-Bob, Harvey and Must Dash.
DJ Merci, aka Ricardo Stanley, is a presenter on Urban Flash and has been DJing for six years, while DJ Harvey is a presenter on Westside FM and has worked alongside the likes of Scott Mills and Tim Westwood.
