The trial of Louise Sullivan, the Australian nanny charged with murdering six-month-old Caroline Jongen from Asmara Road, Cricklewood, will not be heard until next year.

Sullivan, 27, made her first appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday in a pre-trial hearing. She lodged a not guilty plea and was released on bail.

The trial had been set for November 16 but Sullivan's counsel asked for more time. Bail conditions ban Sullivan from working with children under the age of 16. She has also been told not to contact the parents of the dead child. Sullivan's mother Robyn provided a surety and agreement was reached on a condition of residence at a secret address.
