MUSICRYDE’s Solent Inn is hosting a four-day festival of music in aid of Help4Heroes.

Ryde Town crier Steve King will open the event on Thursday, before a performance by Steam Machine, from 9pm.

On Friday, there will be sessions by Navy Ted and Friends and X-Directory, followed, on Saturday, by The Ric Harris Trio, The Wild Oats and an open mic session, hosted by Steve Heath.

The final day will feature L&M and Bagpipers.

"Our community has come together to help our service heroes, from our bands donating their time to play to our customers taking to the road to hand out leaflets," said landlady Helen Fastnedge.
